So OneDrive offers you 30 GB of free storage compared to Apple’s 5 GB of free storage in iCloud Drive. Feature-wise, we thinkĭropbox is the better cloud storage solution overall. Dropbox offers 2GB of free storage, and currently offers 1TB for £7.99 per month. Where OneDrive has a distinct edge over iCloud Drive is its generous free storage amount. If you work alone, or with forward-thinking people, then other options offer the same functionality for a better price. Much depends on your day-to-day working existence. Whether you really need Word on your iPad is yet another thing entirely. Whether it’s £5.99 per month good is, of course, another matter – we think the free version is enough for most people. Microsoft has done a superb job though, and Word for iPad is a very good recreation of the desktop app. Pages doesn’t import Word tables and charts correctly, Word costs £5.99 per month (or £59.99 per year) for premium.
